We’re seeking an experienced sales leader to spearhead our client’s international expansion, leading a high-performing team to new heights. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, market expansion, and the effective use of digital tools to drive growth in sales, while transitioning from traditional sales models to innovative, digitally-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and monitor international markets, identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Define the commercial plan, setting sales targets and strategies to achieve them.
• Lead the sales efforts and ensure growth in line with the company’s business plan.
• Create functional strategies and specific goals for sales representatives, and develop budgets, policies, and procedures.
• Determine the budget required to meet objectives.
• Prepare annual sales forecasts and regularly verify their accuracy.
• Oversee the effective maintenance of the order pipeline and ensure a timely reporting mechanism.
• Propose promotional campaigns.
• Assist, train, and motivate the sales team in managing various product lines by defining segments to promote growth.
• Establish and maintain client relationships and manage visits to end-users.
• Serve as the point of reference for the group’s sales branches.
• Participate in trade shows and conferences.

Qualifications:
• 8+ years of commercial experience in a global sales leadership role, in the Medical Devices industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships in multicultural environments.
• In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and relevant quality standards.
• Multilingual proficiency, with fluency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Proficiency in CRM software and strong Excel skills, including data analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in managing a global sales force and driving digital transformation within sales teams.
• Frequent travel to the headquarters in Italy will be required.
