Position Overview:
Are you passionate about podcasting and have a deep understanding of the latest technologies in this field? We're seeking a Podcast Intern to assist in the production, editing, and distribution of our podcast content. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing and evolving industry while working with a team of talented professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in pre-production activities, including brainstorming, researching, and script development.
· Participate in podcast recording sessions and help with audio setup and recording equipment.
· Collaborate with the production team to edit and post-process audio content, ensuring high audio quality.
· Assist in sourcing and securing podcast guests, conducting pre-interview research, and coordinating guest schedules.
· Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in podcasting, audio editing software, and equipment.
· Manage and organize audio files, show notes, and metadata for podcast episodes.
· Work with the marketing team to promote podcast episodes through social media and other channels.
· Contribute to the development and execution of creative podcast ideas and concepts.
Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a related field (e.g., communications, journalism, media studies).
· Strong passion for podcasting and a deep knowledge of the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in the podcasting industry.
· Familiarity with audio recording equipment, editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar), and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative.
· Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
· A strong sense of creativity and storytelling.
